Welcome to Youna. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Youna mobile application and related services ("Service") operated by Youna.

Youna is a self-reflection application that allows users to write journal entries and receive AI-generated insights regarding emotional patterns, habits, goals, and personal reflection.

The Service is designed for personal development and self-reflection purposes only.

Youna does not provide medical, psychological, therapeutic, diagnostic, or emergency services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

By using Youna, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you may need to create an account.

You agree to:

  • provide accurate information;

  • keep your login credentials secure;

  • be responsible for activity under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Users may submit content including:

  • journal entries and personal reflections;

  • goals and habits;

  • other information voluntarily provided through Youna.

You retain ownership of your content.

By submitting content through Youna, you grant us permission to process that content only as necessary to operate the Service and provide its features, including analysis, insights, summaries, and personalized suggestions.

We do not claim ownership of your content.

5. AI-Generated Insights

Youna provides AI-generated insights based on information you submit to the Service.

These insights:

  • may be inaccurate or incomplete;

  • may not reflect your actual emotional or mental state;

  • should not be relied upon as professional, medical, psychological,
    or therapeutic advice.

Youna is not a medical or mental health service.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • upload or submit illegal content;

  • submit harmful or abusive content;

  • attempt to exploit, manipulate, or misuse the AI system;

  • interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the Service.

Violation of these rules may result in account suspension or termination.

7. Auto-Renewable Subscriptions and Payments

Youna may offer premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions.

The subscription title, duration, price, and applicable price per billing period are displayed within Youna before you confirm a subscription purchase.

Payment will be charged to your Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed through the Apple App Store.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off before the end of the current subscription period.

Your Apple Account will be charged for renewal according to the subscription price and billing period displayed by the App Store.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancelling auto-renewal does not immediately terminate access to the subscription. You may continue to use the subscription features until the end of the period for which you have already paid, subject to Apple's applicable terms and refund policies.

8. Privacy and Data Processing

Your use of Youna is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, process, store, and share information.

Where required, Youna will request your permission before personal information is shared with third-party artificial intelligence service providers for processing.

9. Service Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service where reasonably necessary.

We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available without interruptions, delays, or technical issues.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Youna shall not be liable for:

  • indirect or consequential damages;

  • loss of data, subject to applicable law;

  • decisions or outcomes resulting from reliance on AI-generated
    insights.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, subject to applicable law.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Deleting your Youna account does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription. App Store subscriptions must be managed or cancelled through your Apple Account subscription settings.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make material changes, we may provide notice where required by applicable law. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those Terms where permitted by law.
