Depending on the features you use, Youna may collect or process the following categories of information.

Journal and User Content
Journal entries and personal reflections, goals and habits you create, and other information you voluntarily provide within Youna.
AI Analysis and Insight Data
Mind states and emotional analysis results, patterns identified from journal content, AI-generated insights, summaries, suggestions, reflections, and relevant previous insights used to provide contextual analysis.
Device and Technical Information
Device type, operating system, app version, and technical and diagnostic information.
Analytics Information
Feature usage statistics, interaction events, and application performance information.
2. How We Collect Information
Information may be collected directly from you when you create an account or enter content into Youna; automatically when you interact with the application; and when Youna generates AI-powered analysis or insights from information you provide.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use information to provide and operate Youna; provide personalized AI-powered insights and analysis; maintain your journal, goals, habits, and related features; maintain application security and reliability; understand application usage and improve Youna; and diagnose and resolve technical problems.
4. Artificial Intelligence Processing
Youna includes optional artificial intelligence features designed to analyze information you provide and generate personalized insights, reflections, summaries, and suggestions.
When you use these AI-powered features, relevant information may be transmitted to our third-party AI service provider, OpenAI, for processing.
Information that may be sent to OpenAI
Depending on the AI feature you use, the information sent for processing may include journal entries and personal reflections; goals and habits; mind states and emotional analysis information; relevant previous journal context; and relevant previous AI-generated insights.
Purpose of AI processing
This information is transmitted to OpenAI only when necessary to generate the AI-powered feature you request, such as journal analysis, emotional insights, summaries, reflections, or personalized suggestions.
5. Your Consent for AI Data Sharing
Before Youna sends your personal information to OpenAI for the first time, Youna asks for your explicit permission. You may decline this permission. If you decline, your personal information will not be sent to OpenAI and AI-powered features that require OpenAI processing will not be available. You may continue using Youna features that do not require third-party AI processing.
You may change or withdraw your AI data-sharing permission at any time through Youna’s privacy settings. After permission is withdrawn, Youna will not make new AI processing requests containing your personal information unless you provide permission again.
6. Third-Party Service Providers
Youna relies on third-party service providers to operate certain parts of the Service. These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their respective services.
OpenAI
OpenAI provides artificial intelligence processing used to generate Youna’s AI-powered analysis and insights. Information is shared with OpenAI only after the user has granted permission for AI data processing.
Cloud and Infrastructure Services
Youna may use cloud infrastructure and storage providers to securely operate the application and store application data.
Analytics Services
Youna may use analytics services to understand application usage, measure performance, and improve reliability. We require third-party service providers that process user information on our behalf to provide protections consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable privacy requirements.
7. Data Storage and Security
Youna uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access your personal information; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion of your information; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and object to or restrict certain processing where applicable.
